WHO IS ON THE TEAM?
ADAM KNIGHT
PRINCIPAL / CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Adam founded Red Element Studios in 2009 with a single camera and a ton of energy. Today he leads the company in producing high production value videos and events that delight both clients and their customers. Adam’s always looking for new ways to tell stories, new technology to implement, and new ways to craft an emotional message. Outside of Red Element, Adam can be found plotting his next global adventure or nerding out about new video and A/V technology.
HANS GLICK
TECHNICAL PRODUCER
Hans was born and raised in the great city of Buffalo. (Go Bills!) He's a versatile producer, shooter and editor whose work has taken him to Sierra Leone, South Africa, India, and beyond. When he’s not planning a live event or tinkering with vMix, Hans enjoys rowing, cooking, and spending time with his daughter.
KATIE KILLEEN
DIRECTOR OF PRODUCTION
Katie is a seasoned producer with both corporate and creative agency experience, as well as a background in documentary television—working on shows for National Geographic, TLC, and Discovery Channel. Her work has taken her around the globe to Alaska, London, Malawi, and Branson, Missouri. Dedicated to the creative process, Katie's thoughtful storytelling is only matched by her attention to detail. A proud West Seattleite (born and raised!), outside of the office Katie can be found walking her dog at Lincoln Park, playing pickup soccer, and watching Gilmore Girls.
MEREDITH HOGAN
SENIOR CREATIVE PRODUCER
After recent stops in New York City and Denver, Meredith is back home in Seattle. Previously, Meredith founded Blue Heron Media, specializing in content strategy and media production for editorial, non-profit and corporate clients. She was executive producer for Verse, creating groundbreaking documentaries using interactive video software after spending more than a decade running special multimedia projects for NBCNews.com. In her free time, Meredith is in the mountains hiking or skiing. She fuels those activities with her obsession with diners and dark chocolate.
REED VIYDO
VIDEO PRODUCER
A born and raised Seattleite, there is no other place Reed would rather be than home-sweet-PNW! What started out as a kid running around the yard with a camcorder became a broadcast journalism graduate from Gonzaga University, and eventually a video production specialist with Microsoft. After over 5 years of trying on different hats, Reed is thrilled to have found a home telling dynamic, creative stories with Red Element. Outside of the office, Reed is exploring hikes and breweries (often together), acting in local theatre, and finding new ways to apply obscure quotes from The Office into real life situations.
MATT KANE
LIVE EVENT PRODUCER
Matt brings over 18 years of production and live event experience to the team. He got his start in broadcast news as a Technical Director in his home state of Alabama. He has been in Seattle since 2008 and has worked as an event manager, director, live show caller, and producer for countless shows. Away from the studio, Matt can be found on the soccer field, pickleball court, or at home teaching his two kids how to make him the perfect cup of coffee.
ERNESTO FONSECA
VIDEO EDITOR
Meet Ernesto, a proud first-generation Mexican American who made his way from sunny Southern California to the chill of Minnesota (oofta), and now calls the Pacific Northwest his home. As a creative powerhouse in video editing and motion design, he's always on the hunt for new skills to bring a unique and fresh twist to his storytelling. When he’s not locked in the editing bay, you’ll find Ernesto exploring local eateries, foraging and hiking with his two tiny dogs, or indulging in a terrible horror movie with friends to get a good laugh in.
KELLEN HOWE
CINEMATOGRAPHER/EDITOR
A Seattle-based cinematographer, editor, and motion designer, Kellen brings his passion for visual storytelling to the Red Element team. After studying videography from a young age, he honed his skills running his own production company before joining forces with Red Element Studios. Outside of work, you might catch him strumming his guitar, a passion since the age of eight, or running pickup games of basketball at the park.
